General Description:

The sapwood of Beech Wood is light pinkish, while the heartwood is light to reddish brown. Beech wood is generally straight grained and has a close uniform texture. It works readily with most carpentry applications and can be stained and polished to a good finish and it is highly suitable for steam bending.
